FAQ

FAQ User manual / Quick guide
  • Dash Cam

Q1: The camera automatically shuts down after one-minute-recording. What should I do?

A1: Due to the screensaver function, it will turn off the screen one minute after it starts. But the recording is still going on. The blue light flashes to indicate that the camera is recording. If you are not used to this function, you can turn off this function on the menu.

Q2: Should the dash cam always be on charging to keep recording?

A2: Generally speaking, the dash cam needs to be charged all the time. The standby time is relatively short, and it needs to be connected to the car charger. When using the parking monitoring function, a hard-wired kit is required to ensure continuous power supply.

Q3: How long can a dash cam record for? And why dash cam saying MicroSD card full and it turn off randomly?

A3: The recording time of a dash cam depends on several factors, such as the size of the memory card, video resolution, and whether loop recording is enabled. A typical dash cam with a 32GB memory card can record about 4-6 hours of footage at 1080p resolution before the card becomes full and starts overwriting old footage. Because of the G-sensor function, the camera will automatically lock some video files to prevent them from being overwritten. When the MicroSD card is full, the dash cam will randomly shut down, reminding you to format the card. We recommend that you manually format the SD card once a month.
  • Trail Cam

Q1: How do I set up my trail camera?

A1: The process of setting up a trail camera may vary depending on the model, but generally, the steps are as follows: Choose a location for your camera that is in the area you want to monitor, and make sure it's secure and won't be easily noticed by animals or humans. Insert batteries and a memory card into the camera. Adjust the camera settings to your desired preferences (e.g., resolution, video length, trigger speed). Mount the camera to a tree or other stable surface using straps or a mount. Test the camera to make sure it's working correctly and capturing the images you want. It's also a good idea to periodically check your camera and adjust the settings or move it to a new location to get the best results.

Q2: How long do trail camera batteries last?

A2: The battery life of a trail camera depends on various factors such as the quality of the battery, the type of camera, and the frequency of use. On average, a good set of batteries can last anywhere from a few weeks to several months. However, if you use your camera frequently or in extreme temperatures, the battery life may be shorter. To get the most out of your batteries, it's a good idea to use rechargeable batteries or an external power supply, turn off unnecessary features. If your trail camera has a solar panel, please make sure it is set up in a location that receives enough sunlight.

Q3: How do I view and download photos from my trail camera?

A3: To view and download photos from a trail camera, you typically need to remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into a computer or card reader. You can then access the photos and videos on the SD card and copy them to your computer or other device. Some trail cameras also have wireless or cellular capabilities that allow you to remotely access and download photos using a smartphone or computer.
